The Northern Manor~Customer Testimonials
Hey Amy~
Jocelyn forwarded your e-mail to me. Misty is doing well. I think she has lost all of her baby teeth now and is growing very quickly. Hopefully now that all of her baby teeth are gone she'll stop chewing soon. She has so much personality (and attitude). She cracks us up all of the time with her "talking." She lets us hear it whenever she is upset.
She and Luke (our almost 6 year old lab) get along just fine. She has pretty much fallen in love with him. She follows him around constantly and loves to chew on him and play with him. He is so good with her too. He takes so much "abuse" from her. It's good though because it lets us know that he will be good with kids. I'm sure Misty will be too once she settles down a little bit (but she is only a couple of months old).
We're going to try to get her enrolled in an obedience school within the next few weeks. We've started working with her a little bit at home but we could definitely use the guidance of a so-called "professional." We're also planning to have her spayed some time next month as well.
With all of the snow that we've gotten here in Colorado, Misty has had lots of opportunities to be in her natural environment. She loves the snow. Whenever it's snowing, she sits at the back door until we let her out. Then she runs laps around the backyard, bobbing up and down through it. Luke goes out for a few minutes and then gets over it pretty quickly whereas Misty could stay out there forever. They're quite a pair.
We've been very happy with her and we think that she is very happy with us. I think that Luke is happy to have a buddy to play with too; even though she doesn't give him a moment of peace. I think that it has worked out for Misty too; having an older dog around to play with and to cause trouble with.
I've also attached a few pictures that you're welcome to use as well. Most of the pictures that we have of her are with Luke and her together so you may or may not want to use them. It's up to you. But you can really tell how good of friends they've become. We'll send more pictures as we take them.
Thanks,

From the very beginning The Northern Manor delivered what they promised. We were a little skeptical picking a puppy we could not see in person but when Amy Gerber answered all of our questions on the initial call she impressed us with her knowledge of the breed and we could just feel the love she had for her dogs.
Amy was very easy to work with and showed honesty and integrity throughout our whole puppy buying process. She kept us informed the whole time; she even called the day our Mya was born. She continued with up-dates and answered all of our nagging e-mails (8 weeks is a long time to wait when you're so excited!) until the day Mya was ready to come live with us in Florida. Even then, Amy went over and above to make sure Mya arrived safe and sound. From the moment we saw her at the airport we were in love-Everything Amy had promised she had delivered. Mya arrived a healthy, happy puppy who was the perfect addition to our family.
I would highly recommend The Northern Manor and Amy Gerber to anyone who would love a beautiful, healthy, and happy puppy to join their family.

Dear Amy,
So glad to hear from you...Nova is by far the most loved dog our family has ever owned. All we keep saying is that he sure is "something."
He loves to snuggle and loves to go places. I take him every day to drop off our youngest son to school. Nova started this thing where he won't get out of the car after our drop off. Instead we have to run errands and then go on a walk. I could go on and on but the point is: he is very loved.
He will be hanging out more with his 1/2 brother, Samson (or as my son says brother from another mother)...The Sloan's just moved and life has been very busy for them. Their new home in our same community is a dog heaven...so lots of play dates will happen with Nova and Samson. Hope you are doing well.....
Fondly, The McDonnells
The Northern Manor is a great place to get Siberian Huskies from. We got Kojak, an all white Siberian Husky from them who is now two years old, and he's been a great dog for us. He is a true Siberian Husky!
We worked with Amy and she has been great - she will also keep in touch with you well after you purchase a dog to make sure everything is going good. We couldn't decide whether we wanted to breed Kojak or not, but she gave us time to decide what we wanted to do after we bought him.
We came to visit the Northern Manor to see what the puppies really looked like and we got one within a couple minutes of being there! The Northern Manor also has great pictures of the puppies on-line so you can really get an idea of what they look like.

Amy,
Everyone
is doing great here. Sophie is doing great with the bunny, the bird, and the cats.
I really think if you take your time with their interaction and raise the Siberian Husky from a pup with small animals you can have them get along. There will be a situation from time to time that people will find a certain dog or small
animal are not a good combination, but for us it is working out great.
Sophie and Clifford (our Golden Retriever) are the best of friends. I am having her spayed and him neutered next Monday. I will send you her documents from her procedure at a later date. I wouldn't ever mind you
letting people call or e-mail me about your website. Getting Sophie was wonderful. She is a great dog and you can tell that your line of dogs are great.
I always
believe that people complain too often and don't give enough compliments. For you and your
kennel, I think the whole experience was great and would never hesitate to let people know. Pictures to come...I have to get her to stop moving long enough to
get good pictures but I will.
Thanks again Janet Shepard
Hey Amy,
Bandit is still doing very well. He is in the process of losing his puppy
teeth so of course it is nothing but teeth; so of course it is nothing but
chew, chew, chew! We bought him those puppy rawhides which
usually take longer for puppies to chew on and they are his all time
favorite!
We can't believe how fast he is growing! He is one happy and
healthy puppy! Since the day we got him his favorite spot has been
under a coffee table that we have in our living room. He can
barely fit under there now, but he still tries to squeeze himself
in there. It is too funny.
Bandit has also aquired a new nickname. We sometimes call him
"Swiper the Dog" because he'll go and take shoes, socks, CD cases,
anything he can find~and take them right to his little bed in our
room. So now whenever someone misplaces something we always
joke around and say, "Did you check Swiper's bed?".
He is very talkative and playful as well. When he wants to go outside
and play he'll be the first one to tell you with his little yips and yaps
and grunts. He understands "What are ya talkin about?"; because he
starts barking and barking right back at you whenever you ask him~
haha.
Our Great Dane, Sidney, is Bandit's best friend. Sidney use to just
ignore him; but now I think he enjoys little Bandit's company. Bandit
follows Sidney around wherever he goes; it's too funny when you
look at their size difference!
Bandit did very well at his first vet appointment in Buffalo, NY.
When we were there we saw a little red and white male Siberian
Husky pup (a little younger than Bandit) and he got so excited! When
we took him in to get his shots the vet gave him a treat and he didn't
even BUDGE when they gave him the shot: he was too interested in
finding out where those treats came from so he could get his paws on
some more.
All and all, Bandit is an AWESOME puppy. He is the life of the party
and everyone just adores him. When we were taking the two hour
trip home with him the day we picked him up from The Northern
Manor Andy said to me, "This is the kind of dog that will make
EVERYONE jealous." And IT IS SOOOO TRUE!!! Siberian Huskies
are amazing dogs. We couldn't be happier with him. Thank you for
an amazing, happy, and healthy puppy!
