Siberian Huskies are a very fun, loving, and active breed. They love to go on walks, runs, hikes, some like to swim, some like to play catch, and most of them even like to talk to you; but the truth is they are a very unique breed and each dog is its own with its own personality. I have yet to meet two that are exactly the same!

Very few would deny their natural beauty. They are very striking and can be intimidating by appearance to someone who is new to the breed, but once the interaction begins an oncomer realizes that the Siberian Husky is not truly a guard dog and in most cases they are really just full of love. Practically every coat color from all black to all white and every color in between is acceptable by the American Kennel Club Breed Standard; their eyes can also vary from eye colors to the pattern of each eye: two eyes can be the same color: usually either brown, amber, or blue; then there are bi-eyes: two eyes, two different colors (for example one eye being blue and the other eye is amber); then there is the parti-eye which is the most unusual because both eyes can be parti-eyes and the pattern can vary from parti-eye to the parti-eye: even in the same dog!

Though the Siberian Husky is a very beautiful breed they also can be very creative and problem solve their way in and out of situations. My advice is always be consistent in your training. I think crate training is a very effective method. I also do not sell our pups to people who will let the Siberian Husky loose. This is a HUGE No No. Siberians can be deceptive in their love and loyalty and some owners think they can trust their sibe; yet there will most likely come the day where your Siberian (no matter how "good" he or she may be) will become what I call "suddenly deaf"; when the Siberian Husky goes "suddenly deaf," they can't (or won't) hear you calling their name; they don't come to you, look at you, or even respond: at that very moment, you their loving owner no longer exists: the Siberian is in their zone. Then you will be on the chase and they will just run! The Siberian is hunting or has seen something that strikes his/her fancy and off the dog goes; and since these dogs are fast...I think sometimes they could run a mile a minute or more when they want to...what this means now for you is that you are now on the chase. So save yourself the hassle and just take our advice: love your Siberian, but never 100% trust their every motive. So therefore that is why The Northern Manor only sells our Siberian Husky Puppies to people who have safe fenced in yards or to people that are willing to walk their dogs and not just let them out loose. We just don't want our puppies or dogs to get hit on the road, stolen, or lost. Please whether you purchase your Siberian Husky from us or not: take our advice on this matter. You and your Siberian Husky will be happier if you do: I Promise.
